Annapurna view points trek is an ideal trip itinerary that takes you to several stunning altitudes hence the name of this trekking program Annapurna view points trek. Combination of three beautiful trek destinations around the south face of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayas. The three major destinations of this trek are Mulde Hill, Khopra Danda, Poon hill, and Mohare Danda. Besides these the destinations like Khayer lake, Tadapani, Ghandruk village, and Ghorepani pass through the trail. It is a mixed trek with cultural and natural perspectives. Annapurna view points trek mainly focuses on the natural view and celestial sunsets and sunrise.
Khopra Danda (Hill) is at the elevation of 3360 meters from sea level. This view point is directly facing Dhaulagiri mountain in the northwest. Poon hill and Mohare Danda lie in the footsteps of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountains surrounding dozens of peaks. This area is culturally rich. The Gurung community with its culture is seen in the Ghandruk and Tadapani area whereas, Pun and Magar community with its culture is seen in Mohare and Khopra area. Green forests, soothing pastureland, terraced farming, and diverse vegetation with various flora and fauna are other attractions of this circular trek. Likewise, the religiously important and naturally beautiful Khayer Baraha lake at an altitude of 4700 m. It is another amazing destination for the day trip during this trek.
The trek starts from Ghandruk village following Tadapani village and further climbing to Khopra Danda. From Khopra Danda the day trip to Khayer Baraha lake is done and returned to Khopra to continue the trek towards Ghorepani and Poonhill. After the amazing sunrise view from Poon hill, the trek further goes to Mohare Danda. It ultimately continues down to Galeshowr and Bas Kharka to finish the trek. These places that you will visit have amazing history and culture that you will surely admire. Most of the destinations are the settlement of Gurung, Tamang, and Magar ethnic groups.

First thing after your arrival you will be welcomed by one of our office representatives at the airport and drop you at your hotel. You will go for Kathmandu cultural sightseeing in places such as Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath temple, and Boudhanath Stupa. These places have immense significance historically as well as spiritually. On the way, you can do trek preparation shopping if you wish. On the third day of this trip, you will drive to the domestic airport from where you'll fly to Pokhara. From there you will walk to Ghandruk village from Syauli Bazaar.
You can stretch out your legs however if you want to reach Ghandruk by transportation you can. The traditional village will welcome with warm and beautiful tradition. This village is especially known for its hospitality and the wonderful vista of magnificent Himayals and calm valleys. Epic Mountain vistas followed by lush green landscapes are the things to see from this view point. You will stay there overnight and wake up to see the striking sunrise. You will be accompanied by a trekking guide throughout the trek. Advance towards other destinations Tadapani then Dobato where you will stay overnight at both places.
You will go through a dense forest of oak and rhododendron making your trip exceedingly memorable. After you pass through Dobato your next stop will be Mulde view point. The satisfying thing about this place is that it is the sanctuary for the dramatic Khayar lake. It is also called the hidden jewel of the Annapurna region. You will explore the surrounding area and the peaceful lake. Soak in the beauty of raw nature, after witnessing the beauty of this place you will hike down to your teahouse. The main attraction of this place is this charming lake. The next day you will walk up to Swanta. This place is well-known for its fine sunrise. The next stop will be Ghorepani from where you can get the ultimate view of Mt. Annapurna, Fishtail, Dhaulagiri, Hiuchui, Dhampus peak, and many more.
A Sunrise and Sunset View Trek
Poon hill is a popular destination among travelers from where you can see 19 peaks. The trail to Poon hill is covered with rhododendron making it the most pretty trail one can walk by. The Colorful mountains during the sunrise will take away all your tiredness. The more you explore the more you fall in love with this peaceful place. The mountains stand tall and ruthless yet they provide the most pleasurable view to its viewers. The food, ambiance, and breathtaking vistas will win your heart.
On the same day, you will make your way back to Mohare to see the sunset and stay overnight. On the following day, after you witness the stunning sunrise from Mohare village, you will trek towards yet another peaceful village called Nangi. This place is surrounded by the best view of the Annapurna region. As already mentioned you can try traditional garments while in the village and as the Ghandruk village offers you Gurung culture Nagri village will offer you the abundantly stunning Magar culture along with the traditional attire. After exploring the beauty and culture you will trek towards your final trek destination which will be Bas Kharka.
On the same day after you reach Bas Kharka, your transportation will be waiting for you at the station and transfer you to your respective hotel where you will stay overnight. Get refreshed and take advantage of the excellent accommodation from the hotel. You can also take a short walk towards the lakeside to experience the nightlife of Pokhara. The very next day you will catch a flight towards Kathmandu and check in at the hotel. This day will be leisurely, meaning that you can self-explore some of the famous locations inside Kathmandu and collect souvenirs and have some quality time. In the evening you will join us for a Nepali Cultural dinner with a live performance as your farewell. On your departure, you will be escorted to the airport 3 hours before your flight time.
