The Ghandruk Ghorepani Trek
You will begin your trek from Ghandruk. Ghandruk village (1,940 m), a Gurung settlement in Nepal, is a culturally inhabited area. The settlement is situated between Lumle and Dangsing villages in the Kaski district. It is one of the most well-known overnight rest stops in the Annapurna region. Additionally, the community draws citizens from all across the nation. From Ghandruk, you can see the magnificent Annapurna Mountain ranges, including Machhapuchhre and Himchuli.
In Nepal, the Ghandruk village is the most popular hiking destination. The second Gurung village in Nepal, Ghandruk, is boosting rural tourism using its resources. The warm Gurung community and its residents are Ghandruk village's main draws. In addition, you'll fall in love with the untouched culture, rustic way of life, regional cuisine, welcoming atmosphere, and captivating vista of the sparkling Himalayas.
Until the village of Ghandruk is left behind, the road consists of stone stairs. Up until a bridge, the trail is a combination of stone steps and a forest footpath. After the bridge, there is a 200-meter walk up some steep stone stairs that end at Bhaisi Kharka. After there, take a short wooded route to Tadapani. There is zero chance of getting lost along the journey. It continuously ascends for a 600-meter elevation difference.
The panoramic views of snow-capped mountains like the Lamjung Himal (6,931 meters), Annapurna II (7,937 meters), Annapurna III (7,555 meters), and Annapurna IV (7,525 meters) can be seen very well from Tadapani. Additionally, it is a fantastic location for seeing the sunrise and sunset over those mountains.
Poonhill is an incredible location that gives you access to a singular experience that is unparalleled anywhere else. The unspoiled environment, breathtaking scenery, lush landscapes, stunning views of the Himalayas and their foothills, a diverse and more unique flora that includes lovely and various types of rhododendrons, oaks, and wildflowers like orchids, jaw-dropping glimpses of the majestic Himalayas, and mountains like the Dhaulagiri Massif, and Annapurna Massif are the major attractions of this place. What makes it more popular is you can have the best version of the sunrise experience from the top of the hill.
Bungee Jumping in Kushma
Bungee jumping in Kushma is a daring activity in and of itself. You can experience free fall on a 520 m long suspension bridge while flying through the air on a rope swing that plunges into the Kaligandaki river valley. The fact that Kushma offers the highest bungee jump in all of Nepal is its primary attraction. The highest canyon swing, which is as thrilling as the bungee leap and offers an exhilarating experience, is also a major attraction of the Nepal adventure tour.
Rafting in Trishuli River
Small gorges and the sight of the cable car going to the well-known Hindu Temple Manakamana are some attractions of the rafting along the Trishuli River, which is unquestionably something that no one wants to skip.
The Trishuli River is a great option if you are seeking a quick river trip and adventurous rafting. It has some pretty spectacular rapids, stunning scenery, and a generally calm environment- all without the challenge of very large rapids. Purportedly, it is one of the best rafting rivers in Nepal.
Paragliding in Pokhara
Pokhara is one of the world's top five most amazing places to go paragliding, making it a fantastic place to practice. It is well known for more than just its exceptional glider rides; it is also known for its breathtaking vistas of the mountains, valleys, gorges, caverns, lakes, and vibrant nightlife.
Although there are many other things to do in Pokhara, paragliding from the stunning vantage point in Sarangkot tempts every adventure seeker to soar through the skies of the city that serves as the entrance to the mountains.
The stunning natural splendour of the Pokhara valley wouldn’t fit into words. And going on an amazing flying excursion to explore it is unlike anything else you can do. You can explore the fascinating Phewa Lake and aerial views of the Annapurna Himalayan Range while paragliding in Pokhara.
Cultural Sightseeing of Kathmandu
On this trip, you will be visiting the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Temple and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
The Pashupatinath Temple is one of the world's holiest and oldest Hindu temples. This temple is revered by Hindus and is devoted to Lord Shiva, who is regarded as the guardian deity. The temple complex, which spans both sides of the Bagmati River, is home to 518 temples and other structures. It is the location where astounding rites that have been performed for ages are performed. This temple receives thousands of people from all around the world during Mahashivaratri. On the banks of the Bagmati River, the distinctive Hindu practices of life, death, and reincarnation are practiced. Right next to the opposite Bagmati River bank lies the Guheshwori Temple, which is devoted to the consort of Lord Shiva.
One of the holiest Buddhist Chaityas in Nepal, Swayambhunath stupa is located in the western portion of the Kathmandu valley. Due to its hilltop location, this location offers the greatest views of the entire city. Swayambhu literally means "self-existence." This temple was constructed in the 13th century by King Manadeva, according to an inscription that was discovered and dates to 460 AD. Both Buddhists and Hindus regard the temple as sacred.
The Boudhanath Stupa, also known as Chaitya, is one of the world's largest stupas and is classified by UNESCO. The architectural significance, historical significance, and pre-Buddhist philosophy of Boudhanath are all remembered. It is surrounded by hundreds of monasteries and serves as Nepal's primary Buddhist centre. The staple was renovated by Licchavi kings in the eighth century, and it was later given the design of a Mandala with a huge dome. There is a pair of Buddha's eyes on either side, signifying mindfulness and calm. Behind the copper prayer wheels on the ground floor of Boudhanath Stupa is a 147-inch wall with 108 inset pictures of the Buddha in meditation. It is a significant location in the Kathmandu Valley to explore.
Kathmandu Durbar Square is another place that resembles medieval architecture and is one of the important places to visit in Kathmandu. Palaces constructed across several eras by Malla and Shah kings can be found in Kathmandu Durbar Square. The Maju Dega, Hanumandhoka, Basantapur tower, Kalbhairav, Dhansa, Taleju temple, and Kumari Bahal are a few of the impressive buildings within the Durbar premises.
Best Time to Visit
The adventure tour is an area of travel that doesn’t consider the time factor in most cases. However, the experiences are largely influenced by the natural setup, environment, weather and climate. During the Autumn season, the temperature and climate are perfect offerings for the best experiences for the visitors. There’s no frequent rainfall, chances of extreme snowfall are low, the climate is also perfect, and visibility is high.
Similarly, the Spring season is also rewarding. The climatic features are similar to that of the Autumn season. One of the best parts of trekking during spring is you can explore the blooming flowers and vegetation altering its leaves.
The winter and monsoon can be arduous travelling without a good forecast and prediction. Monsoon is one of the best times to trek and explore the adventure if you want to explore an uncrowded trail. During monsoon, the trail is filled with wonderful greenery and blooming flowers making the experience delightful. And for that also, the weather should be forecasted. The winter and monsoon periods have frequently changing weather, making travel difficult. However, trekking and adventure activities are admired by many explorers in these two seasons, more specifically.
