Located at an altitude of 3,842m above sea level and 150 kilometers away from Kathmandu, Kalinchowk is a quick city escape that lies in the Dolakha district of Nepal. During the first day of the trip, you will drive towards the Charikot of Nepal. Charikot is one of the popular towns that lie on the Araniko Highway of Nepal. It is the same route that reaches the Jiri of Nepal from Kathmandu. From there you will move towards the Charikot village. Charikot is also known as the gateways of the Kalinchowk Bhagwati temple. Kuri Village is situated at an elevation of 3,450 meters above sea level. Similarly, it is the last settlement to spend the night while visiting the popular Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple.

The next day you will wake up early to explore the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple. After about an hour of walk, you can reach the top of the hill. You can also choose to take the cable car ride to reach the top of the hill. After exploring the Kalinchowk Bhagwati Temple you will return back to Kuri village. You will have your breakfast and return back to Charikot for Lunch. You can also explore the Dolakha Bhimsen Temple if you are interested. After having lunch you will follow the same route back to Kathmandu.
