Her content writing career first began back in 2022, when she joined Altitude Himalaya. During her time at the company, she learned how to break down destinations into clear, useful guides for travelers to follow. This was also when she unlocked a deep, deep love for travel. 

That experience continues to shape her work today. Having completed 5+ major trekking trails and travelled across more than 25 districts of Nepal, she writes from familiarity rather than assumption.

Karuna rejoined Altitude Himalaya in December 2025 as a Content Writer. Currently, she writes and updates guides for Nepal’s major trekking destinations, focusing on their routes, roots, and culture. Likewise, her background as a developer gives her a firm understanding of digital platforms and long-form content systems.

Outside of writing, programming, and travelling, Karuna spends her free time knitting and crocheting. Over time, she has handmade almost an entire wardrobe for herself and an ever-growing army of mini crocheted creatures. If she somehow still has some time left over, she pours it into gaming, particularly Genshin Impact.
